Pär Olausson appointed new Dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences

Associate Professor Pär Olausson was the nomination committee's proposal for a new dean, and he most recently served as Head of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences.

The appointment as dean extends from 2024-07-01 to 2028-06-30.

According to the rules of procedure, the Vice-Chancellor shall also appoint a Deputy Dean following a proposal from the Dean. However, the current Deputy Dean, Sandra Wall Reinius, has an appointment that extends until 2025-06-30, which is why no new decision needed to be made.
