Background

Licensed nurse (Bachelor's degree) in hospital care
District nurse (Master's degree) in home healthcare and primary care

Area of interest

Safe evidence-based care and improvement work
In this area, we study how we can best prevent and prevent medical injuries and unnecessary suffering for people and relatives. One aspect is research in care quality and patient safety.

Informatics and collaboration in teams
In this area, the care organization, the care chain and the importance of digital competence for the quality of care are studied. The research also includes the effects of good leadership and teamwork in different contexts.

Research

I am working on a research project on care quality in transitions from hospital care to home healthcare in sparse rural areas. The care transition process ensures continuity and coordination of healthcare during patient transfer from one place to another. The overall aim is to explore perceptions of care quality in the transition process, which includes care before, during, and after adults in need of care at home are transferred from hospital care to home care.

Teaching and tutoring

Lectures assess and supervise within the undergraduate nursing program.
