Selection rules and procedures

The selection process is in accordance with the Higher Education Ordinance and the local order of admission.

Teaching form

The course consists of lectures, seminars, practical workshops and critiques.
Attendance is required at certain lectures and exercises, as well as all seminars and critiques.

Examination form

The exam consists of two parts: an individual written assignment based on the analysis of two magazine publications as well as a group based practical assignment in producing a magazine.
To pass the course, the student must satisfactorily complete the written assignment as well as the practical assignment. Additional instructions regarding examination are to be included in the course syllabus presented at the course start.

Grading system

Seven-grade scale, A, B, C, D, E, Fx and F. Fx and F represent fail levels.
