Aim

The aim of this course is to gain knowledge of how to find and utilise different locations whilst experiencing how to adapt to various on-location scenarios.
The purpose is for students to learn how to explore and interact with various locations in order to identify the interrelation of photo and place.

Course objectives

After passing the course students will be able to:
- plan and prepare a location shoot
- identify location lighting challenges and solutions
- photo document a location
- use digital tools to gather location data
- present visual location survey information

Content

The course deals with:
- location scouting
- location lighting
- site responsive approaches
- environmental photography
- travel photography
- landscape photography
