Feasibility study DigiNära
DigiNära is initiated in response to the challenges facing Swedish healthcare. There is an urgent need to streamline and make healthcare more accessible and secure, where technological development plays a key role.
With the rapid pace of technological development, healthcare is facing a shift, and it is crucial to adapt early. For healthcare to fully utilize and drive this paradigm shift, it is of utmost importance to increase the technical capability within the sector. Technology and medicine need to come closer together, and through cross-industry collaboration, innovation and new solutions can be created.
DigiNära aims to contribute to more people gaining knowledge and tools to increase accessibility and quality in healthcare through digitalization. This, in turn, strengthens the region’s and actors’ competitiveness and the development of sustainable and high-quality healthcare that is accessible to all.
The goal of the preliminary study is to identify challenges and create conditions for implementing a larger project. Smart Caring and Digital Solutions are identified development areas in Västernorrland and Jämtland that this project strongly ties into by focusing on digitalization as a tool to develop regional healthcare and social care.
